Our Free Roof Inspections check your home for hail damage

You may suspect there’s hail damage on your roof, but it can feel like a bit of a risk to engage a roof repairs company and pay a call-out fee when you don’t know exactly what’s going on.

Our free roof inspection takes the risk out of it. We’ll attend your home on your preferred day and time and comprehensively inspect your roof, no strings attached and completely free of charge.

We’ll provide you with a detailed report and our recommendations.

After your comprehensive roof inspection, you’ll receive a detailed report. This will clearly itemise and explain the damage in an easy-to-digest format — which will also be helpful for us when it comes to the insurance claim process, if we do happen to find damage.

Your Metro Hail roof inspector will run through the report with you, offering clear explanations and recommendations if we find opportunities for you to improve your roof’s integrity.

It’s a free, no-obligation investment for your home

Your roof inspection is an opportunity to spot hail damage as soon as possible — hopefully even before it causes any issues for your home. It’s an investment, and gives you the chance to secure a new roof through your insurance to protect your house for years to come.

Have suspected hail damage?
Here’s why you should choose Metro Hail.

We don’t hand you off to other builders

Once we’ve inspected your roof and have found hail damage, we’ll begin the claims handling process. The last stage is the repair of your roof – we have our own builders complete these repairs, so we can ensure you receive only the most top-quality fixes.

Up to $1k excess relief

If we do find hail damage in our inspection, the claims handling will come next. We know that for some homeowners, the excess is the scary part. We’ll provide up to $1,000 of excess relief at this time.

We get your claim across the line

We make getting your insurance claim across the line our business. Depending on the extent of the damage, we may attend your home when the insurance assessor does to ensure everything goes smoothly. At our core, we’re always working to speed up your claim process.

Free Claims Handling

When you partner with us for your roof repairs, we’ll handle your claims process for free. Not only does this save you time (and some of that stress), but our claims handling service also increases your claim’s likelihood of success.

Expertise in diverse roofing materials

Our team of roofing professionals possesses extensive experience with a variety of roofing materials. We have the skills and knowledge to accurately assess and repair any hail damaged roof, however we don’t use shingles, replace metal asbestos or decramastic tiles with Colorbond.

Local knowledge, tailored solutions

Living and working in Brisbane gives us a unique understanding of our local climate and the specific challenges it poses to roofing materials. Our familiarity with our area’s weather patterns allows us to not only expertly identify hail-damaged roofs, but also to recommend and implement solutions that are best suited to local weather conditions. This means you can make sure your home is protected against future hail damage.

Have a question?

What happens after the free inspection?

Once we’ve assessed your roof and have found significant hail damage, we’ll get started on the claims handling process. Your roof will be repaired once your insurance claim is successful. At Metro Hail, we’re here to handle this process on your behalf.

How long will it take?

The claims process can extend from a few weeks to a few months, depending on your insurance company and their turnaround time. Our repairs will take from a few days to two weeks.

How quickly can you start repairs after my insurance claim is approved?

Once your insurance claim is approved, we aim to begin repairs as quickly as possible. Our build lead time sits between 1 – 2 months, depending on the cost of work, which is generally faster than insurance builders. We understand the urgency of restoring your roof to its optimal condition, and work diligently to schedule and complete your repairs in a timely manner.

How do you make money if it’s free?

Metro Hail makes money by completing the repairs on your property. This is funded by your insurance company, who pays us once we’ve completed your roof hail damage claims process for you.

What if my insurance claim is denied?

If your insurance claim is initially denied, we can provide additional documentation and support to appeal the decision. Our team has extensive experience working with insurance companies and can help present your case in a way that maximises the likelihood of claim approval.

What preventive measures do you recommend to protect my roof from future hail damage?

To protect your roof from future hail damage, we may recommend specific materials known for their hail resistance. Additionally, regular roof inspections and maintenance can help identify and address vulnerabilities before they become major issues. Our team can provide further tailored advice based on your roof’s condition and your local climate conditions.
